The Tacit Knowledge Urban Research Network collaboratively conducts research on urban informal processes and the tacit knowledge integral in them from multiple vantage points in the relational geographies of settlement, housing, and economies

One of the four projects with the Centre for Policy Research that Sputznik is involved with, TURN or the Tacit Knowledge Urban Research Network is a multi-organization research project that documents informal ways of knowledge production and sharing within different urban communities in India. The goal of the project is to better inform policy making in the urban context. The website is an archive of the research outputs of the network, organized according to which research area the output focuses on, location it is related and which institute of the network has published it. The website also houses a front page for the ‘Kolkata Urban Archive’ collections that are originally hosted on Zotero Cloud.
